About KPC
We Solve Complex Communication Problems.
We do our best work when we are sitting alongside leaders, helping support how they communicate and designing messages that move people. Sometimes that means confidential counsel in the boardroom, and other times, it means helping leaders and their teams find their collective voice.
Either way, it means we show up prepared for just about anything.
about us
A Foundation in Public Safety Communications
Kaitlyn Perez Communications (KPC) is a founder-led firm supporting leaders through moments that matter. When the spotlight is sharp and expectations are high, messages need to be clear, credible, and grounded in purpose.
This work wasn’t learned in a classroom. It was shaped in real time, in highly visible roles across policing and local government. Kaitlyn communicated through natural disasters and critical incidents where people and communities were facing real crises.
That experience still defines her work today. Clients rely on a steady hand and strong instinct to bring order to complexity, anticipate how messages will be received, and guide leaders to respond with clarity and intention when it matters most.

Caitlyn Anderson
Senior Communications Strategist
Caitlyn Anderson is a senior communications strategist with a background spanning public safety, nonprofit, and private-sector communications. She brings a disciplined, results-driven approach to media relations, social media, and strategic communications planning, helping organizations communicate clearly, credibly, and effectively.
She spent five years as a public information officer for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, where she led social media strategy and executed media relations. In that role, she managed communications during critical incidents and high-profile situations, balancing accuracy, transparency, and public trust. This experience provides a strong foundation in crisis communication and gave her a real-world understanding of how messaging performs when scrutiny is immediate and the stakes are high.
After serving as the first civilian manager of the unit, she left the sheriff’s office to join a Fort Myers–based public relations and marketing firm. There, she managed public relations strategy for nonprofits, restaurants, and home builders. This role strengthened her ability to create robust communications plans and execute tactical elements to achieve business objectives.
Before joining KPC, she was a communications strategist for a national nonprofit focused on law enforcement research. In that role, she managed media relations, social media across the organization’s multiple platforms, email marketing, and project-based promotional initiatives. This work bridged public safety expertise with data-driven storytelling and national-level communications strategy.
She received her Accredited in Public Relations (APR) in 2023, reflecting her commitment to ethical, strategic, and best-in-class communications practices.
Her specialties include social media management, strategic communications planning, crisis and public safety communication, and multi-sector client experience spanning government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector.
We don’t manage media lists or chase headlines
What we do is pretty straightforward: we help leaders communicate.
Some days we are brought in under blue skies, and on others, we are called in to manage crises in real time. Either way, our approach is just as much storytelling as it is steady hand.
Our work is strategic, collaborative, and deeply grounded in trust.
